Vaginal Rejuvenation (Vaginoplasty)
Vaginal rejuvenation — clinically termed vaginoplasty — is a surgical procedure to tighten the vaginal canal and perineum. It addresses vaginal laxity that commonly follows vaginal childbirth or occurs progressively with age. The procedure aims to
Who is a suitable candidate?
Vaginoplasty may be appropriate for women who experience:
A thorough consultation and clinical assessment with Dr Wong is conducted prior to any procedure to confirm suitability and discuss realistic expectations.
Labiaplasty (Labia Reduction Surgery)
Labial hypertrophy , where the labia minora extend beyond the labia majora, is a common anatomical variation and is not a medical abnormality.
Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reshape or reduce the labia minora (inner vaginal lips) or labia majora (outer vaginal lips). Women seek the procedure for a range of reasons:
Labiaplasty is an elective procedure, and at The OBGYN Centre it is approached with the same clinical rigour and informed consent process as any other surgical intervention.
Hymenoplasty (Hymen Reconstruction)
Hymenoplasty is a delicate surgical procedure to reconstruct the hymen to its pre-rupture state. It is most frequently requested for cultural, religious, or personal reasons, and is performed with a non-judgmental and fully confidential approach at The OBGYN Centre.
The procedure uses precise surgical technique to restore the hymen with minimal scarring. It is carried out as a

faqs
Vaginal rejuvenation (vaginoplasty) addresses the internal vaginal canal — specifically tightening the vaginal muscles and perineum to restore tone lost through childbirth or ageing. Labiaplasty addresses the external genitalia — specifically reshaping or reducing the labia minora or majora. Some patients undergo both procedures simultaneously; this is assessed on an individual basis during consultation.
Most patients resume light desk-based work within two to three days of labiaplasty or vaginoplasty. Strenuous activity, exercise, and sexual intercourse should be avoided for four to six weeks to allow full healing. Individual recovery times vary and are discussed in detail during your pre-operative consultation with Dr Wong.

Yes. Hymenoplasty is available at The OBGYN Centre and is performed with complete confidentiality. The procedure is not publicly advertised in all contexts due to cultural sensitivity, but consultations are available to all patients regardless of background or reason. Vaginal laxity most commonly results from vaginal childbirth, particularly following multiple deliveries or significant perineal trauma. Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause also contribute to loss of tissue tone and elasticity. Vaginoplasty can address structural laxity surgically. Non-surgical options including laser vaginal tightening and pelvic floor physiotherapy may also be appropriate depending on severity and individual goals.
Vaginismus is treatable. For many women, a combination of
produces significant and lasting improvement. Treatment is tailored to each patient. Dr Wong will assess your specific presentation and recommend an appropriate management plan during consultation.
The cost of labiaplasty varies depending on the extent of the procedure, anaesthesia requirements, and whether it is combined with other procedures. An accurate fee estimate is provided only following a clinical consultation. Please contact us to arrange a private assessment. The OBGYN Centre does not publish fee schedules for surgical procedures online.
Cosmetic procedures are generally not claimable under Medisave or standard health insurance, as they are elective rather than medically indicated. However, some functional conditions — such as significant labial hypertrophy causing physical discomfort — may qualify for partial coverage. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please enquire during your consultation.
Cosmetic gynaecology is a personal decision. We invite you to discuss your concerns and goals with Dr Wong in a confidential, unhurried setting. All enquiries are treated with complete discretion.
